Dreamworks

For Dreamworks, I was tasked to create and direct a brand which would hold a number of puzzle games and branded content for the children's show Gabby's Dollhouse. I had chosen a grid like formation to hold the typography, imagery and graphic elements to subtly indicate the cross section of a dollhouse which is where the show is set and where Gabby and her cats' adventures take place.

Whilst animating, I took inspiration from real world physics, always thinking 'ballpits' 'marshmallows' and 'candyfloss' to inject a childlike and fun aesthetic. The challenge here was moving away from my highly slick (often corporate) style of animation and moving into territory that I haven't explored before. Also informing the direction and advising other designers on how to use the brand was another challenge. In total we delivered over 30 animating assets, including games, animated conversation starters, instagram stories, memes, and craft carousels.
